Rental Terms & Conditions
Rental from Bluewater includes all maintenance, service and call-outs. You are responsible for insuring the machine against accidental damage or loss, and for operating it with fully certified drivers. The price is for a six year rental; with a new machine supplied after the first 36 months, at the same guaranteed price. Should you wish, termination of the hire at the end of the first 36 months is by 3 months' notice. The price going forward at the end of the six-year period will be re-negotiated.
Rental prices are for machines operating in normal conditions on single shift. Replacement of tyres and/or forks will be extra. (This should not happen with fully qualified drivers within the 36 month period).
Our rental and lease purchase terms are available to limited companies only. Sole traders and individuals are subject by law to different conditions. Please contact us for the latest information.

We have a large fleet of forklifts of all types and sizes available for monthly hire. Prices are approximately £10 per week more than the 3-year rental prices indicated before. Contact us to hire an up-to-date modern forklift.

When you hire a forklift, it is vital you mention the heights of the doors in your buildings and any other height restrictions. Forklifts come with different types of mast and varying closed height.
Forklift Stability Triangle
Forklifts are unique when it comes to considering stability. Unlike cars which conform to four point stability, forklifts are subject to a stability triangle which is calculated as the area within the forklift underside, created by three lines which join the two front wheels and the centre of the rear axle.
